MyChelle's refreshing
Bare Foot Treatment
This
wonderful foot treatment for all walks of life will
drench your feet in soothing, lubricating oils, soften
and dissolve dead skin cells with it's salicylic
and azelaic acids, and sooth tired, puffy feet with
Ginger and Boswellin.
Tip:
Wash feet with Fruit Enzyme Scrub, rinse and dry.
Then apply MyChelle's Bare Foot Treatment. Wrap each
foot in plastic bag (a supermarket produce bag will
do), and cover with a warm towel and relax for twenty
minutes.
Remove
warm towels and plastic bags and remove excess Bare
Foot Treatment. Your feet should feel soft and revitalized.
The next time you exfoliate your feet in the shower
with a foot file, you will notice a remarkable difference
in the way the dead skin cells will easily shed and
wash down the drain. |

Next to the skin, the foot is probably the most undervalued body part, but
one that can make life very painful and difficult if neglected. Everything
from corns, athletes foot, cracked heals, fungus nails, ingrown nails, blisters,
offensive odor and even back pain can be avoided by giving your feet just a
little attention they so dearly deserve.
The Foot
The anatomy of your foot is very complex. With more than
250,000 sweat glands, 26 bones, 33 joints, over 100 muscles,
ligaments and tendons, your feet are responsible for carrying
your entire weight. Toenails and fingernails are made up
of a very hard protein called keratin. Nails function are
to protect your fingers and toes from injury.
Pedicures
A professional pedicure, performed by a licensed foot care
specialist, once every four weeks can be very enjoyable
and therapeutic for your feet. The technician will groom
the nail bed, trim the cuticles and nails properly so there
is no chance of ingrown toenails to occur. They will also
file the horny layer of your heals, ball of your foot and
big toe if necessary to rid the foot of this thickened
dead skin. Although this treatment can be very effective
and relaxing, it is very important you ask your foot specialist
how often the equipment is disinfected and sterilized.
If not, you may be exposed to foot and toe fungus that
can lead to painful infections.
Shoes
Tight fitting shoes and high heals (as pretty and stylish
as they may appear) can lead to corns, blisters, calluses;
not to mention hammer toes (toenails that are bent like
a claw). More serious conditions such as back and leg pain
may be caused by unstable high heal shoes that effect muscles,
bones, joints and ligaments in your body.
Wearing sandals made of plastic or rubber will dry and crack
your heals; look for shoes made of canvas or leather.
